Monkey mask performance in Immendorff exhibition in „Neues Museum Weserburg“ 2007
Clay design
The first picture is a clay modelling with monkey features on a plaster cast of my own face.
This design was cast later on and about a dozen of these monkey masks (2nd picture) were worn during a performance of students in the Immendorff exhibition in 2007. The masks were numbered and signed. I wonder who of the students still have their masks… Well, I still have mine (No. 1 of course)!
